English language support in our schools

Elementary School

Grades K-3

We provide language support services to multilingual learners in K-3 through a combination of pull-out English class and push-in support based on student WIDA ACCESS levels. 

Intermediate/Middle School

Grades 4-8

We provide language support services for our Recently Arrived learners and Emerging multilingual learners through a pull-out class each day. Other multilingual learners are provided support thorough SDAIE: Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English. 

High School

Grades 9-12

Multilingual learners attend an English Language Development class appropriate for them based on their WIDA scores. We also support students through sheltered math instruction and SDAIE: Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English. 

iLearn Virtual Academy, grades K-12: We offer support based on student need in compliance with their Individualized Learning Plan and WIDA ACCESS Scores.
