This is an early literacy program designed to help parents learn and practice activities and techniques for different critical developmental skills. During this program there is an interactive book reading, crafts, activities, and a healthy snack all based around the book that was read. This program is available for children birth - PreK and their parents.
Lending Library
Is a parent involvement program offered to parents and their Preschool children. Students, with their parents, will check out books each week to take home on Thursdays, or they will choose a book to read together while they wait to go to class.
PACT Program
Kindergarten students participate in the PACT (Parents as Children's Teachers) program. They check out a book weekly from book carts with the help of our Kiwanis Club of Tellico Village volunteers.
Panther Pack
This program is designed to provide healthy snacks to children in our schools on weekends. Research suggests that adequate nutrition provides a positive link for your child’s learning capabilities. On Fridays, or the last day of each school week, a bag with food items is discreetly given to students to take home. For more information parents may contact the FRC or school guidance staff.
Santa’s Helper
This program assists families who need help at Christmas by partnering with individuals, churches, civic groups and businesses. Clothing, toys, and other basic family needs are provided to children. The program is income based.
