Our schools are looking for parents, community leaders, and other civic-minded individuals who are willing to give of their time and talents. Volunteer opportunities in many areas are offered. Our students are eager to learn and share what they are learning with a new friend. Lenoir City School volunteers are making a vital investment into the future of each student they assist.
Lenoir City Schools has a visitor check-in system as a part of an initiative to update our schools security measures. We need all volunteers to complete a volunteer application. Volunteer Application Website
Once you have completed the application, the Family Resource Center will review and approve the application. At that point you can visit any of our schools and one of our administrative assistants will help you check in. Please make sure you tell the individual assisting you at the school with check-in that you are a volunteer and have completed the volunteer registration process.
Once you have completed the application process you should receive an email from Sterling Volunteers regarding the background check process. Please be aware that you will have 24 hours to create an account with Sterling. Additionally, once you register, it may take up to 72 hours to complete your background check.
We appreciate all of the work that you do and the time that you spend enriching the lives of our students. If we can answer any questions please feel free to reach out to the Family Resource Center at 865-986-0518 or 865-988-7256 (Spanish).
